Booker Leaves Northern Foods

Northern Foods today parted company with Andrew Booker, its finance director, after only ten months with the group.

The company, which is responsible for Goodfella's pizzas and Fox's biscuits, said: "Andrew will be standing down by mutual agreement."

He will stay on for a further three months until December 31 and will be succeeded by Simon Herrick, the finance director of Kesa Electricals.

Mr Booker was previously European finance director with Gallaher, the cigarette maker that was taken over by Japan Tobacco in a deal worth $19 billion in 2006.
